Chip Powers The Future, Intelligence Builds The Semiconductor Ecosystem | VIGOUR Concludes A Successful Trip To WESEMIBAY in Shenzhen Bay

October 14–16, 2026, the WESEMIBAY Semiconductor Industry Ecosystem Expo 2026 (WESEMIBAY Expo) was held at Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center (Futian). With the theme Chip Powers the Future, Intelligence Builds the Ecosystem, the expo covered nearly 80,000 m² of exhibition space, bringing together over 1,000 enterprises from 22 countries and regions. Industry leaders including ASML, KLA, Naura and Advanced Micro-Fabrication Equipment attended the show. More than 40 industrial forums were held concurrently, making it the largest and most complete semiconductor industry event in South China covering the whole industrial chain.

At this major industry event focused on domestic IC brands, VIGOUR exhibited its ultra-high purity gas control solutions. We held face-to-face discussions with professional visitors from wafer fabrication, equipment integration, packaging & testing and advanced materials sectors, conducting three days of in-depth technical exchanges focusing on purity, stability and consistency of process gases.

Visitor traffic stayed high right from opening day. Our guests included process and procurement teams from top domestic fabs and equipment integrators, as well as professionals from Southeast Asia, Japan and South Korea. Discussions were highly practical:

How to further narrow gas pressure fluctuations in etching processes;How to arrange gas distribution for new production lines within limited floor space;How to avoid production downtime during gas piping retrofits;How to verify material compatibility for specialty process gases.

VIGOUR showcased a full portfolio of gas control products for semiconductor fabs, including multiple new releases making their debut at this exhibition.

To address the space shortage in wafer fabs, the IGS adopts a modular design. It integrates pressure reduction, filtration, switching and monitoring functions originally scattered along pipelines into an ultra-compact footprint. All components are surface-mounted per SEMI standards, greatly cutting on-site installation and maintenance work. Two sealing options are available: C-seal and W-seal. Constructed from double-melted 316L stainless steel with electropolished (EP) critical flow paths, the system delivers a clean, short flow path with easy purging and gas replacement for ultra-high purity gas applications.

This is VIGOUR's best-known product line for semiconductor applications.

All parts are cleaned with ultrapure water and assembled in a cleanroom. Critical components undergo helium mass spectrometer leak testing. Every model has an individually marked flow coefficient Cv ranging from 0.009 up to 10. We can match the right regulator for low-flow analytical gas and high-flow bulk gas supply, without sacrificing process margin to fit standard product specifications.

 When paired with safety components such as VEFS flow switches, we form a complete gas delivery chain from gas source to point-of-use.

Trace impurities directly impact thin-film quality and production yield. Contamination can stem from any non-compliant wetted surface, seal structure or assembly environment. That is why VIGOUR completes electropolishing, ultrapure water cleaning and cleanroom assembly before shipment. Cleanliness is built into design, not fixed after installation.

Cylinder pressure gradually drops during gas consumption. If outlet pressure drifts accordingly, the downstream process window will shrink. VIGOUR uses two proven structures to suppress pressure fluctuation:

 Two-stage regulators: coarse adjustment followed by fine tuning

 Pilot-operated regulators: balanced high flow and precise pressure stabilization

 This keeps outlet pressure steady at the set value, reducing frequent manual on-site adjustments.

Production lines run for over a decade, so system maintainability directly determines long-term operating costs. Modular construction, standardized end connections and clearly routed flow paths minimize downtime for maintenance and retrofits. Combined with flow monitoring and alarm units, abnormal conditions can be detected early before product defects occur.
